What began as a humble initiative has today blossomed into a legacy of excellence, touching the lives of over 10,000 students across multiple institutions.

Formal Recognition & Expansion
Recognizing the immense potential and passion for education, the Madhya Pradesh Government provided land in Raj Mohalla, Indore, for the establishment of an official institution. In 1953, M.B. Khalsa Education Society was formally registered under the Societies Registration Act, marking the beginning of an educational revolution in the region.
Today, M.B. Khalsa is not just an institution but a legacy — a network of schools and colleges offering a wide range of programs from primary to higher education, fostering holistic development and preparing students to excel in every sphere of life.
Historical Journey & The Birth of M.B. Khalsa Education Society
Sikh Migration & Early Presence in Indore
The story of the Sikh community’s presence in Indore dates back to the 1860s, but it was during the 1940s, particularly after the Partition of India in 1947, that the Sikh community began to establish a more significant presence in the region. Many Sikh families, fleeing from Mandi Bahauddin (now in Pakistan), found a new home in Indore, bringing with them a rich tradition of education and service.
Their first step was to revive the educational values they held dear. Gurudwara Imli Sahib became the birthplace of their educational journey, where informal education was offered to children, marking the beginning of what would become M.B. Khalsa Education Society.
